Mental Health Challenge Has Started!
Mental Health Challenge Starts Today!
“Let’s step into Mental Health Awareness Month in May on the right foot”!
Get your scorecard today! Great incentive prizes.
With so much going on in our world and lives, many of us are experiencing increased feelings of stress and anxiety. Self-care and mental health awareness are more important now than ever. With that said, knowing how to best take care of yourself isn’t always easy. Instead of letting your mental health challenge you, we’re hoping to help you challenge those emotions and take back control with a two-week Mental Health Challenge. It’s time to start and continue those healthy behaviors that will help get us through those ups and downs of everyday life. If you miss a day, don’t give up, the goal isn’t to be perfect.
We have sent out over 150 Mental Health Challenge scorecards to date and congratulations to Jaspreet Kaur for winning a pair of tickets to the Royal Theatre as part of our early bird draw.
The challenge will run from today April 17th to Wednesday April 31st. Once you take the challenge, an entry into the draw will be awarded for each day over the two-week period for completing a new task from the list. We will also have a draw at the halfway point to keep you motivated! Send in your scorecard to Gord by noon on April 26th to qualify for the halfway incentive draw. The final draw prize winners will be announced at 12 noon Friday May 3rd so you have until then to submit your final score card.
Anyone who sends us a paragraph on their journey over the two-week challenge will receive an additional 5 extra entries into the draw box!! If it includes a picture, we will add three more entries!!!
And now the draw prizes!
Our halfway draw prizes to keep you motivated will be $25.00 gift card at Elevate Sport &Health, $25.00 credit to any course we offer through IWL, and a pair of movie passes from the Royal Theatre. Our grand finale prizes will be a $50.00 gift card from Elevate Sport & Health, and a Kuma padded, foldable camping chair! Some great reasons to start developing and continuing those mental health coping skills!
It’s never too late to enter. Contact Gord today at Gordon.menelaws@teck.com to receive your mental health scorecard!

In The Community
Promote A Community Event
Community events are a great gathering place for employees and their families. These events are a great opportunity for families to meet other families, especially those employees and families who are new to the area. If you would like to promote a community event or program, and it falls within the boundaries of what our IWL program allows us to promote, let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate. Send the details to Gord at Gordon.menelaws@teck.com
