The annual Kootenay South Metis Society’s Indigenous Peoples Day Celebration is coming up Sunday, June 16 from 11 – 4 pm at Gyro Park in Trail. The event is open to everyone in the community and includes the All My Relations Dance Group from Kamloops, accompanied by Eagle Bear Spirit Drummers from Creston, jingle dancers from Nelson and the Golden City Fiddlers from Rossland. The event also features food like Bannock and Buffalo Burgers, as well as artisans and vendors.
